This is going to sound crazy... I don't like cake but I love to decorate and bake cakes.
I learned how to make cakes during a week of being snowed in. From there I took a few classes and was on my way. I thought it was a good idea that my first paid cake was a wedding cake. I was mistaken. So many things went wrong. The solution was to restart small and work up to bigger cakes. I don't make them often but when I do they are pretty fun and taste pretty good, too. There is never any left over.
